Manfrotto 496 Compact Ball Head
The Compact Ball Head is strong enough to take 35mm SLR cameras with medium lenses, light medium format cameras or small hand held DV cameras. The Manfrotto 496 has a single indexed "ratchet" locking knob for 360 degree pan and 90 degree -90 degree tilt movements. Camera attachment is via a 50mm platform with 1/4" male thread. Head to tripod attachment is 3/8" female. All aluminium construction and black finish.
