The ARRI Ultra Prime 14mm T1.9 is a high-performance PL-mounted prime lens designed for Super-35 format cameras. Known for its compact size and lightweight build, it offers exceptional image quality, vivid colors, and accurate skin tones—characteristics that ARRI/Zeiss lenses are renowned for. This lens is part of the Ultra Prime series, which ranges from 8mm to 180mm, and is optimized for both HD and film cameras.
Key features of the Ultra Prime 14mm include a fast T1.9 aperture for shallow depth of field, minimal focus breathing, and reduced glare thanks to the T* XP coating. With a close focus distance of 8.7" and precise focus markings on both sides of the barrel, it's perfect for focus pullers in any setup. The 0.8 Mod focus and iris gears are compatible with manual follow focus units and wireless lens control motors. All Ultra Prime lenses share common gear positions, enabling quick lens swaps without adjustments. The 14mm lens has a 114mm front diameter, unlike the other lenses in the series, which have a 95mm front.
